Floor Renovation

We have a very ambitious renovation project planned for this summer--as an Eagle Scout service project, Scott Maurer has planned and priced an effort to repair and update our fencing floor. Some bits of the floor are sagging or falling apart, and this renovation will prevent that trend from continuing. In the next few days, you will be receiving a letter in the mail explaining the project in more detail, and requesting a donation. You can find the full of the text of that letter online here . I realize this is fairly short-notice, but we are attempting to raise enough funds in the next three weeks to meet the cost of the wood required. You are under no obligation to give, but your donation would make a big difference at the club. With the full support of our membership, I am confident we can meet our fundraising goal.

Summer cookout

Next Monday (July 10th) regular practice will be replaced by the Summer Cookout! All HoF fencers, parents, and siblings are invited. We will grill, eat, play games, hang out, and hopefully enjoy some nice summer weather. You can sign-up to bring food, snacks, or dessert to the cookout. The summer cookout will be from 6pm-9pm. Hope to see you all there!
