Sunday Youth Tournament
This Sunday (April 2), we are hosting an unsanctioned Youth Tournament. This is basically a practice tournament for ALL club members, to have fun and help you get familiar with how tournaments work! No extra equipment and no competitive membership is required... all you have to do is show up and fence! There are three different age groups, but you are welcome to fence in more than one! As always, it's very helpful if you sign up in advance, which you can do right here . I'd like to see more of our fencers participate!!!
No Youth Class Next Wednesday
Next Wednesday (April 5), there will be no Youth Class (5-6pm). Hooked on Fencing will open at 6pm on that day, and younger fencers are welcome to come and take part in the later practice. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Tuesday Night Training
Our next session of Tuesday Night Training begins on Tuesday, April 11! These extra practices are intended for competitive fencers and will run for 8 weeks. This a great way to prepare for Nationals, local tournaments, or just take your skills to the next level! These are some of our most popular practices, and are more structured than normal practice, featuring conditioning, deep dives on strategy, and competitive fencing. All competitive fencers are welcome to participate... the cost of this session is $100 and you can sign up right here .
FFFFF Night
It's been a while, but we're hosting our next FFFFF Night on Friday, April 14! For those who have never attended, that stands for Friday Fun Fencing Food Film (or something like that)! Basically, doors will open at 6pm, we'll have snacks and pizza and hang out, and when it gets dark we'll watch a movie! As always, the movie is a surprise, so you'll have to show up to find out... I hope to see as many fencers there as possible!
Summer Camps
Both of our summer camps are posted! These are really fun experiences and great chances to build skills for all our fencers! Our first summer camp will take place June 19-23 , and the second the week of July 24-28 . Hooked on Fencing members can also sign up through this link . Put these on your calendar and don't forget to sign up early!!! See you at camp!
