Tuesday Night Training

Tuesday Night Training begins tomorrow, April 3rd, and will last through the end of May! These practices are open to fencers who have fenced in competitions outside the club, and cost $100 for the session. You can see the schedule and sign up online here , you can sign up and pay at the club, or you can simply show up on Tuesday and bring cash or check. See you then!

Club Championships

The weekend of April 14-15 the third Club Championships event of the season will be held. This in-house tournament is a great way to become familiar with competition format in the comfort of your home club. You can view the event schedule and sign up online here . The fencer with the most points at the end of the season in each category will win fencing equipment and get their name on the Club Championship banner!

Closed Early for HS Championships

The High School Championships will take place in Columbus next weekend, on Saturday, April 7th. As a result, Hooked on Fencing will be closed at 11am that day. All classes taking place before 11am will occur as usual, but fencers should plan on being picked up by 11am!!!

FFFFF Night

On Friday, April 20th, we will be holding another FFFFF Night. There will be food, fun, fencing, and a film, and it will be Friday! Doors will open at 6pm; you can fence or just hang out, and there will be pizza. If you would like, you can bring a snack. You may also bring friends. We will aim to start the movie by 7:30, and plan on ending by around 9:30. See you there!

Road Closure this Week

As a side note, the portion of Abbey road between Royalton Road and HoF (near Royal Redeemer) will be closed this week due to construction, so be sure to plan an alternate route!
