Tuesday Night Training

Next Tuesday (October 18) we are starting the new session of Tuesday Night Training ! This session will run 9 weeks, from October 18th until December 13th, and will hopefully give fencers an edge in the many upcoming tournaments. Basically, TNT are more intense practices designed for competitive fencers that focus on conditioning, tactics, competitive situations, and more. This time we will focus on controlling the bout and generating ideas, so fencers don't get stuck not knowing what to do in a bout! Tuesday Night Training is open to competitive fencers age 13 and up (competitive meaning those who have or are planning to fence in USA Fencing competitions). Practice runs from 6-8:30pm and fencers should plan to be there the whole time, as TNT is more structured than regular open fencing. The cost of this 9-week session is $100 and you can sign up right here .

Board Game Night - 10/21

Don't forget about board game night on Friday, October 21! It's a great chance to hang out and have fun with other members of the club, with board games and snacks! We'll start at 6pm and go to 9-10pm. Feel free to bring a snack or board games to share and we'll have a great time! All club members and parents/siblings are welcome!

Bring-A-Friend Tournament - 11/5

On Saturday, November 5th, we're holding a Bring-A-Friend Tournament at 1:30pm. If you participated in the Bring-A-Parent Tournament, this is basically the same idea, but with friends! Fencers can invite a friend who has never fenced, and coach them in an all-beginners tournament! This is open to all of our members, and there is a sign-up available at the club. See you all there!
