Hooked on Fencing will be closed on Thursday, November 23rd, for Thanksgiving! Enjoy your holidays! However, we will still be open on Wednesday, November 22nd (tomorrow). See you all after the break!

Electric Epee Raffle

Our annual epee raffle is underway! How would you like to win a brand new, ready-to-go epee and support the club at the same time! Someone will and it could be you! Raffle tickets are $5 and can be purchased either at the club or online right here . Tickets will be sold through Monday, December 18th, when the drawing will take place at our annual Christmas Party. You do not have to be present to win the prize, but make sure you get your tickets by then!

HoF Unrated, Y10/12, + Women's

The next HoF tournament is less than 2 weeks away, on Sunday December 3rd! This time, there's events for Youth fencers, Unrated fencers, and a Women's Open! Eligible fencers, sign up and participate!!! Not to beat a dead horse here, but so far there are nine fencers signed up from other clubs, and only one from HoF!!!!! The whole reason we are hosting events is so our members have opportunities to participate and compete!!! Sign up right here .

Board Game Night

On Saturday, December 9th, we are holding another board game night! There will be snacks, pizza, and of course, lots of games to play! Fencers, feel free to bring some favorite board games, or come without--there will be plenty of options! This event event will last from 6-10pm. Come and have a great time!

Junior Olympic Qualifiers

The Junior Olympic Qualifiers for the Northern Ohio Division will be held on Sunday, December 10th. This is one of the qualifying paths for the Junior Olympic Championships , held February 16-19 in Charlotte, NC. Whether or not you plan to attend the Junior Olympics, you can register and fence in this event. More information on JO Qualifying paths can be found here .

HoF Christmas Party

Our annual Christmas Party will take place on Monday, December 18th, and take the place of regular practice. This is a chance for all fencers, families, and friends of HoF to get together and celebrate another great year of fencing! Everyone is invited--doors will open at 5:30 but we'll plan to start the festivities at 6pm. We will also hold the drawing for our Electric Epee Raffle, fence off our annual 1-touch tournament, and give away a few other prizes as well. Bring a dish, snack, or dessert to share and let's all have a great time!
