Hello to new fencers

HoF has grown again ! Our membership just hit 100 ! Welcome our new fencers, make them feel at home. Show them what HoF is all about.

Teams at Nationals

I have taken the liberty to enter teams at nationals, I have been asking for some time now on who wants on team. I have received little response. Here are the teams as they stand now, we must have 3 on a team we have spots availble. Senior men's team 1 Bogard, Arlington , Dragonetti Alternate open

Men's team 2 Billinghurst, Broderick, Segalchik Alternate open

Women's senior team, Lesko, Rutan, O'Reilly Alternate open

Men's junior team 1 Billinghurst, Broderick, Segalchik Alternate open

Men's junior team 2 Kimatian and NEED 2 more Alternate open

Women's junior team DeLuca, and NEED 2 more Alternate open

So we have spots available, let me know

Flower orders

Tomorrow is the deadline for flower orders. If you want them please turn in your order tomorrow. Thanks for your support. If the flowers and bulbs are good, we'll try again next year. It's a win/win situation.

Spring Cleaning Saturday June 1, 2013

We will start at 2pm, might run until 5pm. Ladies and gentlemen, it's time to give HoF its annual spring cleaning. A deep through clean. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the club in a cost free manner. One that will seriously do some real good. HoF is one of the cleanness fencing clubs in the country, I take great pride in our facility, I hope you do as well. Please put your name on the spring cleaning board in the break area, the more people that help, the faster we finish.

Summer Nationals Training

Every Friday beginning May 24th, we will be having competition practice for Nationals, Matt Bogard will be in charge of it. To participate you have to be 13 or over or have Y12 points. Doors will open at 6:30pm, start at 7pm, can't be late and you will have to stay until it ends. It will be just like any competition, we will be having pool(s) one week, DE's the next.

Youth Classes

We have posted our next youth class !!! lets get the word out again !!! Class starts on Saturday June 1st and runs for 12 weeks from 9am to 10am 8 spots still left

Fencing for 6,7 and 8 year olds

The board will meet on Tuesday May 21. At this meeting we will finalize the fencing experiment for 6,7 and 8 year olds. HoF will be doing something and probably will be in August. This will be for HoF family kids only.

Please an important note, when we host events at HoF it is imperative that you sign up ASAP. The more that sign up then the more people will sign up.

If our own people wait to long no one else will come.
