Summer Nationals
The regular entry fee deadline for Summer Nationals is today, May 15th! If you are qualified for this event, be sure to register by today! If you are unsure whether you are qualified, or want to view the schedule of events, see the US Fencing event page here . Don't wait!
Tuesday Night Training
In advance of Summer Nationals, we will be holding a six-week session of Tuesday night practices. These practices will focus primarily on footwork and fitness, and will aim to prepare our fencers for the National Championships. These practices are open to fencers 12 years and above who are competing at the Summer Nationals. The cost of the session is $50, and it will begin on May 21. Practices will run from 6-8pm. You can sign-up online or at the club!
Spring Cleaning
A big THANK YOU to everyone that came and helped us on our Spring Cleaning day! Thanks to your help the club is ready for the new USFA season!
Youth competition at HoF
On Sunday, May 26th we are having a youth competition at Hooked on Fencing. You can sign-up on askFRED . It includes competitions for Y10, Y10/12 combined and Y12/14 combined!
Iron/Lady Knight on June 9th
The Iron Knight/Lady knight is fast approaching! If you are 13 or older you should sign up . This is our oldest and most successful competition we have at HoF. It will also be one of the most demanding competitions you will ever do! You fence everyone that is signed up (round robin) and to win the bout you have to be up by four touches (4-0, 100-96). Gatorade and pizza is provided midway through. Sign-up and pay through askFRED and save money! If you sign-up but not pay, you will appear as signed up but to you will not save money, you have to pay through askFRED!
HoF Summer Camps
Our summer camps are online! These camps will attract more fencers if our members sign up, so sign up early! The Youth Camp will be held the week of July 22-26, and the Advanced Epee Camp the week of July 15-20. Sign up soon!
