Summer National Schedule
The Summer National Championships begin on Friday, June 28th. We will be sending a large contingent of fencers, especially because the Nationals are in Columbus, Ohio! Here's how Nationals (and the 4th of July) will affect the HoF schedule:
Saturday, 6/29 - Regular practice, no private lessons.
Monday, 7/1 - Regular practice, no private lessons.
Wednesday, 7/3 - CLOSED
Thursday, 7/4 - CLOSED
Saturday, 7/6 - Regular practice
The regular schedule will resume on Monday, July 8th. If you want to follow our fencers action, watch for the "Preliminary Seeding & Live Results" tab to go live on this page .
HoF Summer Camps
Don't wait to sign up for our summer camps! If you are planning to attend, you should register now! The Youth Camp is a fun experience designed to get our younger fencers excited about the sport and ready to apply new skills. The Youth Camp will be held the week of July 22-26. The Advanced Epee Camp is intended to prepare fencers for the intensity of competition, and will be held the week of July 15-20. Follow the links above for more info. Registering in advance helps us plan the schedule and can also make the camp more appealing to fencers outside the club, so sign up soon!
82/Abbey Road Construction
Beginning July 1st, the construction on 82/Royalton Road will block the entrance to Abbey Road. This may last 1-2 months, so make plans to use an alternate route this summer.
Summer Cookout
The annual Summer Cookout will be held on Monday, July 15th, in place of regular practice. All fencers and families are invited to attend! This is also the first day of the Advanced Epee Camp, so attendees are welcome to stay after the camp on Monday and assist in setting up. Stay posted for more details in the following email!
