Gold for HoF fencers
Congratulations to HoF's college student at Northwestern University Courtney Dumas who for the second year in a row won the NWU Burton Open, With junior and senior years left, can she do it four times? Congratulations to Meghan O'Reilly, Meghan won gold at the Division 2 Women's Epee Regional Open Circuit (ROC) in Buffalo NY on Sunday October 7, 2012. This is Meghan's first tournament win, the first of many! With the win also came a new rating, E2012!
Special scrimmage at Oberlin College
HoF has been invited to send 4 teams to Oberlin College on Sunday October 14, 2012 for a direct elimation 8 to 4 to 2 team match. HoF will field 4 equal teams and Oberlin College will do the same, each Oberlin team will fence a HoF team so you will not fence club mates. We need 12 fencers! Right now I have 2. Please email me at walt_hof@yahoo.com if you wish to be on a team. This is for older kids, 14/15 to 100, no youths.
