Youth Practice Tournament THIS Sunday!

Sunday Youth Tournament

This Sunday (September 8th) we are holding an unsanctioned, practice youth tournament at Hooked on Fencing. I would strongly encourage ALL of our youth fencers to take part in this event! There are two events--Y14 at 11am, and Y12 at 2pm. Currently, Y14 includes fencers born 2010-13, and Y12 includes fencers born 2012-2015. That means that a few fencers have the option to participate in both events. Because this is a practice event, full fencing gear is not required. Participating in events like these is a vital part of both fencer development and fostering the local fencing community! It also provides great feedback about your fencing and gives you new ideas to work on during practice! Remember that the above times are start times, so you should be there beforehand to stretch, warm up, and not be rushed. As always, please be sure to pre-register for the event right here . Unrated/"D" & Under Tournament

We also have a sanctioned Unrated Tournament and "D" & Under Tournament on Sunday, September 22nd. This is a great opportunity for many of our fencers, so if you are a "D", "E", or Unrated fencer born 2011 or earlier, you should participate in this event! If you need help acquiring full competition equipment for this event, let us know! And once again, be sure to sign up in advance for this event! askfred.net That really helps us grow the event and prepare to run it well!

Adult Beginner Class

We are starting a new adult beginner class on September 25th! Parents--this is a great chance to dive into the sport and give it a try! Be sure to spread the word to anyone else who might be interested!
