Duelist Open Cancelled

The annual Duelist Open (which was planned for this Saturday) has been cancelled! Apparently, there was an issue with the venue that prevented its use, and the tournament organizers were unable to locate a replacement venue on such short notice. Saturday Practice/Demonstration

This Saturday, we will not hold afternoon practice as usual. HoF will close at 12:30pm, but you can still fence! We will be fencing outdoors as part of a demonstration at the North Royalton Community Festival from 1-2pm. Some of our fencers participated in this demonstration last year, and this will be fairly similar. Ideally, many of our fencers will participate, help show off the sport, and make this a fun event! Fencers can meet by the gazebo at the North Royalton City Green on the corner of Ridge and Royalton roads.

Saturday morning youth classes, open fencing, and lessons will take place as usual, but all club activities will end by 12:30pm. Make sure you plan not to be at the club after that time!

Youth Beginner Class

We are starting a new Youth (9-12) beginner class on Saturday, August 31st! This class will run six weeks from 9-10am and introduce brand new fencers to the sport! If anyone you know is interested in trying fencing, this is the perfect place to start. Younger siblings of fencers--this is a great chance to see what fencing is all about! You can sign up or read more right here . We will also hold an adult beginner class starting September 25th, so parents--this is a great chance to dive into the sport and give it a try!
