Group classes ONLY on Saturday and Monday--no private lessons!

Just a reminder, HoF will be open tomorrow and Monday (7/10 and 7/12), but there will be no private lessons on those days, as Johnny and I will be with our fencers at the Summer Nationals. Zach and Todd Goodman have kindly agreed to lead classes while we're away, so come out and fence! The regular lesson schedule will resume on Tuesday, July 13.

So far at Summer Nationals, Michelle Schultz has reached the podium, earning the silver medal in Vet40 Women's Epee! In addition, Paxon Elyaderani placed 10th out of 169 competitors in Y14 Men's Epee. Our Y14 boys also fenced in the Junior Team event (20 & Under), and despite being seeded 26th, defeated the 7th ranked team, before ultimately losing to the team that finished 4th. Congratulations to all our fencers who have been successful so far, and good luck to all those competing on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday!

Meanwhile, don't forget to register for our two remaining summer camps! The Youth Camp takes place July 19-23, is for fencers ages 9-12, and is perfect for any skill level. There will be games, drills, and situational fencing, and the goal is for fencers to leave more knowledgeable and more passionate about the sport. We would love to see as many of our fencers be involved as possible. You can sign up for this camp by following this link .

The following week is Advanced Epee Camp II. This camp will coincide with the Olympics and have a strategic focus--perfect preparation for the start of the new season. It will also be a chance to apply lessons learned from Summer Nationals. You can read more and sign up at this link .

Expect another email next week with more info about our summer plans, including our summer cookout, FFFFF Nights, tournaments, and the start of the new season!
