Memorial Day, Club Champs, and Iron Knight

Memorial Day

We will be open on Memorial Day (Monday 5/25) but there will be no lessons, just open fencing. Come fence, get a good workout, and have a good time. Doors open at 4:30. Older fencers, try to be here by 7:00 so you can fence as many people as possible!

Final Club Championships

The last of our 2014/15 Club Championships series will be held on the first weekend of June. Adult fencers, and all those age 13 and above, you should fence in the open event on Friday, June 5th. The event starts at 6:30; let's make the last event of the season the best-attended! Youth fencers, your events will be held on Sunday, June 7th. Sign up in advance and let's have our biggest event yet! These tournaments are for ALL members, not just competitive members!

Iron Knight

Our annual Iron Knight Tournament is coming up! This is one of our most popular events, and will be held on June 14th. The Iron Knight has a marathon format; instead of DE's, you will fence a large pool with all other fencers, i.e. if there are 40 fencers, you will fence 39 bouts. All bouts will be no time-limit, win by 4 touches. Sign up AND pay in advance to save money! All of our competitive members should fence! Come test your endurance--maybe YOU will be the next Iron Knight!
