March NAC Deadline/Upcoming Tournaments

Cleveland NAC

This year, the March North American Cup will be held in Cleveland, Ohio! This is a National event with Youth and Cadet events, so it's a great opportunity for fencers ages 9-16. You can read more about age groups and other detail right here . This is a really cool event to be involved in, whether you're a serious competitor, a new competitor gaining experience, or just interested in taking part in a competition with other fencers from around the country. While some of our fencers travel all around the country for competitions, this is a chance to get the same experience without the travel and lodging expenses. While the NAC takes place from March 7-10th, the deadline to register is THIS Wednesday, January 8th. If you're not sure if this event is right for you, feel free to shoot us an email or discuss at the club. If you have a USAFencing Access membership, you will need to upgrade to a Competitive membership for this event. You can read more information and register for the NAC right here . Don't wait!

Other Tournaments

There are a lot of other tournaments coming up to consider. As usual, you can find most of these events on the left-hand side of these emails. Some highlights include CSU's 'E' and Under and Women's events on Sunday, January 12th. All of our 'E' and under fencers should take part in this event... it's literally made and hosted for you! There is another Women's event, as well as a 'C' and Under Team Event at Western Reserve Academy on January 18th. There are also 3 events coming up specifically designed for High School students--the Rocky River Invitational on February 1st, the Chapman Invitational at WRA on March 2nd, and the Ohio High School Championship on April 6th. Put these events on your calendar, and of course be sure to check AskFRED.net and USAFencing.org for more opportunities!
