LOUISVILLE NAC REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS TODAY

Louisville Junior, Cadet & Youth NAC

Today is the last day to register for the North American Cup in Louisville, KY. The NAC itself is the weekend of November 7-10. There will be Junior, Cadet and Y14 events. While Louisville is a bit of a hike, it will be the closest NAC this season, so it's the best opportunity to fence in a National competition. For more info, or to sign up, see this page .

October Club Championships

October Club Championships The second edition of this year's club championships is this weekend; the open event will be held this Friday, Oct. 3rd, and the youth events on Sunday, Oct. 5th. Hopefully, now that fall schedules are back in full swing, we will see an increase in attendance. To sign up for these events, or to learn more, click here. askfred.net This event is open to all HoF members! Have you signed up?!

HoF Cedar Point Trip

On October 18th, Hooked on Fencing is going to Cedar Point for Halloweekends! The basic plan is to meet at the club that Saturday at noon, carpool to Cedar Point, and spend the day at the park! If we can get at least 15 people to go, we can get a group rate of $37.00 per person. You can sign-up at HoF or online for both those interested in going, and parents willing to drive. Everyone is welcome to come, but those under 13 should plan on coming with parents. We will figure out a few more details (food, times, etc.) as the date gets closer, but for now, make sure you sign up so we know who is interested!

Chicago Remenyik ROC

The weekend of October 25-26, there will be a Regional Open Circuit (ROC) event at Northwestern University. In case you're not sure what this means, ROC's are a level above local events, but a level below National events. This is an excellent event for all of our competitive fencers. There will be Open, Junior, and Cadet events, each with separate men's and women's competition. If you are serious about competing, this is a must-do event! Preregister or find out more here .
