Closed for Thanksgiving
We will be closed this Thursday for Thanksgiving. Wednesday and Saturday will be regular practices. Happy Thanksgiving!
Club Championships
Our first Club Championships of the season will be held the first weekend of December. This is the first of four such events to take place over the course of the fencing season. All HoF fencers are invited to take part, whether or not you are a USFA competitive member. You also do not need to own full competition equipment! The Senior (13 and up) will take place on Saturday, 12/8, and all of the youth events (Y10, Y12, Y14, and U19) will take place on Sunday, 12/9. Find the full details and sign up a skFRED .
Christmas Party
This year's annual Christmas party will be Wednesday, December 19th. All HoF fencers and families are invited! We will have food, awards, and other HoF traditions. We will also be starting our annual Electric Epee Raffle next week! You will be able to purchase tickets for $5 online or at the club, and one lucky winner will receive a brand new epee.
Recent Results
This past weekend we had fencers participate at the Blue Box Open in Columbus. Brian Vanderlinden won gold and Gabe Velinov bronze in the the Y12/14 mixed epee event. In the Division II event Drake Du won gold earning his E2018 and Brian Vanderlinden came in 3rd earning a bronze. Congrats, Brian and Drake!
For the months of September and October, Hooked on Fencing had 11 fencers that renewed their ratings or earned a new one! Congratulations to everyone!

Upcoming Closures
A good part of our fencers will be competing at the North American Cup in Cincinnati, OH and we will be closed on Monday, December 17th.
HoF will also be closed on Christmas Eve, Monday 12/24 and New Year's Eve, Monday 12/31.
