HoF Youth Tournaments

We have two Youth events coming up at HoF this month and next--first, an unsanctioned Youth event THIS Sunday, January 18th. This event is for ALL HoF Youth fencers age 14 and younger, regardless of experience. The purpose of this event is to expose fencers to a competitive format, learn the rules of competition, and have fun! This event is unsanctioned, which means fencers don't need competitive gear to participate. You can view the schedule and sign up online right here . There is a $20 fee per event. We'd like to see as many of our fencers participate as possible!

Secondly, we are hosting a sanctioned Youth event on Saturday, February 28th. This event does require full competition equipment, although we can help supply you if you're in need of equipment! All of our youth fencers should take advantage of these events... hope to see you there!

Tuesday Night Training

Tuesday Night Training continues this Tuesday! If you missed the first practice, it's not too late to join in. You can read more info and sign up online here . If you're interested in attending, please let us know! We have also changed the time slightly. Starting tomorrow, TNT will go from 6:30-9pm. See you there!

Other Tournaments

There are lots of other tournaments coming up for everyone, but especially our High School fencers! Be sure to check out the links on the left side of this email for more upcoming tournament opportunities, or ask at the club to explore more tournaments that are right for you. This is an important part of the sport, the community, and self-improvement as a fencer!

Summer Camp

Don't forget to register for our first summer camp! The sooner you sign up, the better we can make it! This camp is open to all fencers age 13 and up (or younger with coach's permission). This camp is the week of June 15-19--two weeks before Summer Nationals. Whether or not you plan to attend Nationals, this is a great opportunity for all of our fencers!
