Ohio High School Championships

On March 30th the Ohio High School Championships will be held in Columbus. This event is open to anyone 19 or under, that were born in 2005 or earlier. If you are in that age category, you can fence and should fence. Register on askFRED . All of our HS fencers should be participating! Our men will be vying to bring back home the 13th straight title and the ladies 2nd in a row.

Closing early on March 30th

Due to the HS Championships, the club will close at 11:00am right after the youth group on Saturday, March 30th. Kids will have to be picked up no later then 11:15am!

Summer Nationals

The Summer Nationals will be held in Columbus, Ohio and we hope to send as many fencers as possible. Most of the events will require qualification, you can read more about it on the USA Fencing Website under the eligibility tab. One way to qualify is through the Northern Ohio Division qualifier event that is on Saturday, April 27th for Y14, Div 2 & Div 3.

NCAA Fencing Championships

Cleveland is hosting the 2019 NCAA Fencing Championships to determine the national collegiate individual and team champions in both men's and women's fencing at the Wolstein Center on March 21-24, 2019. You can find the schedule here and buy the tickets online .

HoF's Summer Camps

We have posted the dates for our summer camps. These camps will attract more fencers if our members sign up, so sign up early! The Youth Camp will be held the week of July 22-26, and the Advanced Epee Camp the week of July 15-20.

FFFFF Night

On Friday, May 3rd, we will be holding another FFFFF Night. There will be food, fun, fencing, and a film, and it will be Friday! Doors will open at 6pm; you can fence or just hang out, and there will be pizza. If you would like, you can bring a snack. You may also bring friends. We will aim to start the movie by 7:30pm, and plan on ending by around 9:30pm.

Spring cleaning

Our annual Spring Cleaning is on Saturday, May 4th, at noon. We will get the club ready for summer, do some cleaning and repairs, and generally keep the club in tip-top shape! The more of our members come to help, the faster we can get these chores done! If you are a contributing member of the club, you should be there to help out! If plenty of people come to help, we should be done no later than 3pm.
