FFFFFF Night this Friday, Virginia Beach results, upcoming tournaments & more
Just a quick couple of things.
First, big congratulations to our own Lauryn DeLuca-- at the North American Cup in Virginia Beach, Lauryn won the silver medal in Epee and the GOLD in Foil!!! Congratulations Lauryn!
FFFFFF Night this Friday
We will be hosting another FFFFFF night this Friday. For those of you who have never been to one, that stands for Free, Friday Fencing, Film, Fun, Fiesta. Basically, it's a time to get together, fence a little, eat some pizza and enjoy a good film. Friends and families are welcome! Doors open at 5:30; we will fence and hang out until 7:30 and then we will watch our feature film. We will have two movie options, and we will take a vote on which to watch. Both films are PG. We hope to see you all there!
Upcoming tournaments at HoF
We are hosting a few events in the next few weeks. Sign-ups on askFRED are poor.
For our own club championships on February 9th, we have Y10, Y12, Y14 & Juniors events. Sign up here Club championships for seniors and veterans on February 7th can register here The President's Day Epee Classic is on February 15; sign up here (USFA tournament, full equipment and all rules apply)
March Memphis NAC Deadline
The deadline to register at regular fee for Division III, Y10, Y12 & Y14 is February 10th To register and fence in the Y10 or Y12 you must meet age eligibility AND fence in one Regional Youth Circuit or one Super Youth Circuit or NAC Youth competition in the current season in the age category OR be on the Youth 10 or Youth 12 national point standings at the regular fee entry deadline.

We still have open spots in our youth and adult beginners classes. If you know someone that might be interested, let them know. They can find more information on our website at www.hookedonfencing.org/classes
