Weekend results
It was a good week for the Hooked on Fencing girls this week in competition. First off, big congratulations to Meghan O'Reilly for WINNING the DIV 2 Kick Off Open in Virginia! Meghan was 1st in a field of 48 fencers, and earned her "C" rating. Congrats Meghan!
Courtney Dumas also added another gold medal to her collection, as she won the Burton Open for the 3rd year in a row. Congratulations Courtney!
FFFFFF This Friday (Oct. 4th)
We will be hosting another FFFFF night this Friday. For those of you who have never been to one, that stands for Free, Friday Fencing, Film, Fun, Fiesta. Basically, it's a time to get together, fence a little, eat some pizza and enjoy a good film. Friends and families are welcome! Doors will open at 5:30; we will fence and hang out until 7:30 and then we will watch our feature film. The film is usually a surprise--parents, if you want to know the name of the film, email me. We do not do R rated films, and I do pre-screen them.
