Spring Cleaning at Noon on Saturday!
FFFFF Night
This Friday (May 3rd) we will be holding another FFFFF Night. There will be food, fun, fencing, a film, and it will be Friday! Doors will open at 6pm; you can fence or just hang out, and there will be pizza. If you like, you can bring a snack. Friends are also welcome to attend! We will aim to start the movie by 7:30pm, and plan on ending by around 9:30-10pm.
Spring Cleaning
Our annual Spring Cleaning is on Saturday, May 4th, at noon. We will get the club ready for summer, do some cleaning and repairs, and generally keep the club in tip-top shape! The more of our members come to help, the faster we can get these chores done! If you are a contributing member of the club, you should be there to help out! If plenty of people come to help, we should be done no later than 3pm.
We will also be updating several of the shelf pictures to be more current, so if any of our members have fencing-related photos, feel free to print them out and bring them in!
Summer Nationals
The regular entry fee deadline for Summer Nationals is May 15th. If you are qualified for this event, be sure to register by that date! If you are unsure whether you are qualified, or want to view the schedule of events, see the US Fencing event page here . Don't wait!
Tuesday Night Training
In advance of Summer Nationals, we will be holding a six-week session of Tuesday night practices. These practices will focus primarily on footwork and fitness, and will aim to prepare our fencers for the National Championships. These practices are open to fencers 12 years and above who are competing at the Summer Nationals. The cost of the session is $50, and it will begin on May 21. Practices will run from 6-8pm. Sign up at the club!
HoF Summer Camps
Our summer camps are online! These camps will attract more fencers if our members sign up, so sign up early! The Youth Camp will be held the week of July 22-26, and the Advanced Epee Camp the week of July 15-20. Sign up soon!
