Club Championships

Our first Club Championships of the season will be held the first weekend of December. This is the first of four such events to take place over the course of the fencing season. All HoF fencers are invited to take part, whether or not you are a USFA competitive member. You also do not need to own full competition equipment! The Senior (13 and up) will take place on Saturday, 12/8, and all of the youth events (Y10, Y12, Y14, and U19) will take place on Sunday, 12/9. Find the full details and sign up here .

Christmas Party

This year's annual Christmas party will be Wednesday, December 19th, and will take the place of regular practice on that day. Doors will open at 5:30 and most of the festivities will take place between 6 and 8pm (feel free to hang out after). All HoF fencers and families are invited! We will have food, awards, and other HoF traditions.

Electric Epee Raffle

Our Electric Epee Raffle is officially underway! You can purchase tickets for $5 online or in person at the club, and one lucky winner will receive a brand new epee.

Christmas Gifts

Fencing equipment makes a great Christmas present! If you'd like to order any equipment through us, the last day to place an order with a guarantee of being ready for Christmas is Thursday, 12/13, and the last day for pick-up is Saturday, 12/22.

December Schedule

There are 5 changes to the regular schedule during the month of December, so put these on your calender! HoF will be closed on Monday 12/17 due to the Cincinnati NAC. Then, the Christmas Party will take the place of regular practice on Wednesday 12/19. HoF will also be closed on Monday 12/24, Wednesday 12/26, and Monday 12/31. Enjoy the holidays!

Tuesday Night Training

A new session of Tuesday Night Training will begin on Tuesday, January 1st. These practices are extra, available only to our competitive members aged 11 and up, and will cost $100 for the session. The session will run through the end of February. This session will be a bit different from some of our previous ones--each practice we will watch and analyze a famous fencing bout from top fencers around the world, before taking to the strip for drills, exercises, and competitive fencing that seek to apply the lessons learned. We will set the time for these practices as the date gets closer; in the meantime you can sign up here .

Cleveland March NAC

It's not too early to set your sights on the March North American Cup , which will be held in Cleveland on March 1-4! National events don't come any closer than this, making this one unmissable for our eligible fencers. Youth events, Y14 Team, and Division III will be contested, making this an ideal event for many of our younger and newer fencers. The deadline to register is January 23, but registration is currently open and it never hurts to make plans in advance.
