NAC this Weekend

Due to the North American Cup taking place in Cleveland this weekend, HoF will be closed this Saturday. However, I encourage all members to pay a visit to the Convention Center and watch a national event in action. The schedule of events can be found here . Remember that Daylight Savings Time begins at 2:00am on Sunday! Keep reading for more info.

For Competitors

If you are fencing in an event this weekend, make sure to arrive at the venue an hour prior to your posted start time. You will need your USFA membership card to check in for your event. Along with your fencing equipment, bring some light snacks (bananas, trail mix, etc.) and water and/or gatorade to stay fueled during your event. It is a good idea to warm up, stretch, and fence a few people before your event. Parents, you can use this link to keep track of the results and where your fencer is fencing during the event. For Spectators

Feel free to come to the venue on any of the days (Friday-Monday) and watch any of the competitions. You can support our fencers, or just see what it might be like to compete in a large event. There is no charge to enter the venue. There will be various vendors around the perimeter, and it is an especially good opportunity to try on equipment like shoes or jackets. The event will take place at the Cleveland Convention Center. See you there!
