NAC Results

This weekend, HoF had 16 fencers compete in the Cincinnati North American Cup. It was a learning experience for all, but special congratulations go to Nicole Zhang, who earned her E18, Harry Kimatian, who earned National Points by placing top 32 in Division I, and Liam Martin, who won a national medal by placing 6th in Division II!

Christmas Party

The annual Christmas party is tomorrow, Wednesday, December 19th, and will take the place of regular practice. Doors will open at 5:30 and most of the festivities will take place between 6 and 8pm. Bring a dish or dessert to share, and fencing equipment to take part in our one-touch tournament! All HoF fencers and families are invited!

Electric Epee Raffle

Our Electric Epee Raffle will be drawn tomorrow at the Christmas Party! It's not too late to purchase tickets for $5 online or even tomorrow at the club, and the winner will receive a brand new epee!

December Schedule

Don't forget our holiday schedule! The Christmas Party will take the place of regular practice on Wednesday 12/19. Additionally, HoF will be closed on Monday 12/24, Wednesday 12/26, and Monday 12/31. Enjoy the holidays!

Tuesday Night Training

A new session of Tuesday Night Training will begin on Tuesday, January 1st. These practices are extra, available only to our competitive members aged 11 and up, and will cost $100 for the session. The session will run through the end of February. I highly recommend these practices to any competitive fencer seeking to improve, because it is a chance to dive deeper into fencing concepts that are difficult to explore in the course of regular practice. The major goal of these practices is to emulate techniques and tactics from top fencers, and learn to recognize them in ourselves and others. These practices will go from 6-8pm, and you should plan to be there on time for each practice. Sign up here .
