Bring-a-Friend Tournament

The Bring-a-Friend tournament is THIS Saturday, March 23rd, at 2pm! Don't forget to sign up this week at the club. Fencers bring a friend (or two!) to participate (must be someone who has never fenced before) and coach their friend in a friendly competition! It's a great chance to introduce the sport to some new people, and test your skills as a coach! We will have 2 different age brackets, so fencers of all ages are welcome to bring a friend! The most successful fencer/coach will win gift certificates for fencing equipment! In preparation for this event, you can print out this waiver for friends (or their parents) to sign and bring to the event. These waivers are also available at the club. HoF Unrated/'C' & Under/Open

Also this weekend (Sunday, March 24th) we are hosting a combined Unrated + 'C' and Under event . The main reason we host these events is to provide tournament opportunities to as many of our fencers as possible, and many of our fencers are eligible for these events! If you are unrated, you can fence in both events, and if you are an E, D, or C-rated fencer, you can fence in the 'C' and Under! If at least six fencers attend the Unrated event, someone will earn a rating! You can help us by signing up in advance right here .

Additionally, we are hosting another Mixed Epee Open on Saturday, April 6th. Be sure to sign up in advance! askfred.net

High School Championships

The Ohio High School Championships were this past weekend and Reilly Jones won first place in Men's Epee, becoming the new high school champion! Congrats to Reilly for some excellent fencing!
