Walt Dragonetti: President - Coach - Founder
Walt is the most accomplished fencer at H.O.F. He started fencing
in high school in 1972 and competed nationally and internationally
until 1983. After a 14 year layoff, he returned to the sport in
1997 for fun and fitness. He is the 2006 National Champion in the
Veteran 40-49 Men's Epee and holds an "A" rating. Walt
has served on the Board of Directors of the Northern Ohio Division
of the United States Fencing Association as both the Awards Chairman
and a Member at Large. Walt says, "contrary to popular opinion,
fencing to me is not about the winning, but about trying to be
better today then yesterday."
Walt graduated from Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania
in 1983 with a BBA in Economics. He works as air traffic controller
at the Cleveland Enroute Air Traffic Control Center, the busiest
